The Happiness Project Course: Promoting Lifelong and Transformative Learning with High Impact Teaching Practices
This presentation explores the use of high impact teaching practices in a course on happiness. Pedagogies examined will include team-based and collaborative assignments; writing assignments that require drafts, revision and final submissions; and the development of a personal happiness project that connects course content to desired life changes.

The Senior Capstone: Making it "HIP"
Senior Capstone courses can often seem unwieldy. Is the class primarily about research? Special topics? Theory and method? This presentation discusses the merits of DePaul's streamlined approach to the Capstone, and it shares some high impact practices (HIPs) that have worked well for the Department of Religious Studies.
